We're celebrating NANOWRIMO2021 with three social media contests for writers!
On Twitter: "My First Line" - We want to see the first line of the work you are creating. You can either tweet the line or include a screenshot of it's longer than the character limit. Be sure to include @okiebookcast and the hashtags #nanowrimo and #okieMFL in your tweet to enter the contest. Your first line should be unpublished and unique to your new novel.
On Instagram: "My Writing Spot" - Show us the spot where you are spending your hours banging away at your novel. Post a picture or two with the hashtag #nanowrimo and #okieMWS and be sure to include @okiebookcast to enter this contest.
On TikTok: "My Writing Distraction" - For the adventurous at heart (or those looking for a bit of a break), show us the thing (or things) that pull you away from your writing (only for a short time, of course). Post a short video of you and your distraction using the hashtags #nanowrimo and #okieMWD and be sure to tag @okiebookcast to enter the contest.
A couple of rules:
All entries must be posted by midnight Central Time on November 20, 2021.
You do not have to be an Oklahoma author to participate.
We will choose five finalists from which the Okie Bookcast community will choose a winner in each category. Winners will be announced on the December 7th episode of the Okie Bookcast and then notified via social media.
Winners in each category will receive a $20 gift card for Bookshop.org.
